The Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriac people have been living in the land of their ancestors for thousands of years. While they have held onto their language, culture and heritage, several unfortunate factors have led these indigenous people to slowly migrate out of their lands.

Although the community has grown in the diaspora, and labored many wonderful organizations that help retain culture outside of the Homeland, there is still a missing piece. The indigenous people of Iraq continue to slowly trickle out of their lands. It is wonderful that the community strengthens in the diaspora, but ultimately without a tie to the homelands we are unable to guarantee that the language, culture and heritage will live on.

We saw a need and thus She leads Assyria was born. Our organization plans to fund large scale projects that will help to create a stable economy for these communities in their villages, and help to develop further infrastructure in the Nineveh Plain.

Our ultimate vision is to see this indigenous community rebuild and remain tied to their lands.
